Fascinated by in-betweenness and passage states, those fleeting sensations left by profound experiences and the simplest moments, Filippa Friberg (b.1998, Stockholm) paints feelings as if synesthetically translated into colours and shapes, dots and forms that might or might not seem impressed in an anthropomorphic way or bringing to mind familiar images, but surely are able to capture life in a way only painting could do. Friberg is graduating summer 2026 with a BFA from Konstfack University of Art, Craft and Design in Stockholm. She has exhibited at NEVVEN (Gothenburg, 2026), Nuda Paper (Stockholm, 2025), Havet at Konstfack (Stockholm, 2025 and 2024), Hägerstensåsens Medborgarhus (Hägersten, 2025), and Galleri Hedenius (Stockholm, 2024) among others, and her work is represented in the public collection of Region Västra Götaland. Friberg lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.
